Collaborative solutions

Leverage our existing tech, or have us make something bespoke

While you can usually find software that does many (or even most) of the things you're looking for, you're usually out of luck if you want to make modifications to a widely-used service. With Jigawatt, you get the best of both worlds.

A hybrid approach

Build on a foundation of winning features

Our Hybrid service is a cost-effective way to build a unique platform tailored specifically to your needs. Pick and choose from Jigawatt's vast feature library, commission a few new tools of your own, and have it styled and branded for your organization. Hybrid deployments live on a specifically-designed server environment and is available for your use indefinitely.

Like custom development, Hybrid solutions are highly collaborative. You'll work closely with our engineering team from concept to deployment. The result is a lot like a custom project, but the process is a lot more streamlined. Of course it only works for companies looking to do something like we've already done.

Hybrid Benefits
You can have it built exactly the way you want it.
Since it's largely built by aggregating existing code, it can be stood up in a fraction of the time of a fully custom platform.
Development is less time intensive, and much of the cost is accrued in long-term license fees.
Test out all the features in fully functional demo platforms and decide what you want. Know up front what you're getting, and of course you have the opportunity to make customizations.
Hybrid executions could be as simple as white label versions of Fusion and Flux, or as robust as you can possibly imagine.

We engineer your dreams

That's right, we turn dreams into reality. We're not talking your daydreams of one day becoming a real princess, nor the wacky fever dreams that get made into David Cronenberg films. And not the cheesy McMansion you “dreamed” up whilst covetously perusing Houzz. And not those naive visions of an egalitarian Utopia you used to dream about back when Americans still had hope.

We're talking about a very specific type of literal, actual dream. That one where your subconsious mind finally sorts out a functional problem you're having at work, and you wake up with an epiphany and scribble it down. But unlike all your other midnight scribblings that you read the next morning and think “WTF was I on?”, this scribbling would solve a very real problem, if only you knew someone who could build it. Well, now you do!

Technology we use

The Jigwatt team specializes in building cloud-based web applications using primarily Javascript frameworks, REST API, and both SQL and NoSQL database systems. Before recommending a tech stack, we seek to understand both short and long-term objectives of the project in question, as well as the technologies already in use within your organization, in order to help you make the best technology decisions.

Is custom software a good fit for you?

Commissioning custom software is not for the faint of heart, and most of the time, there's an off-the-shelf solution that's everything you need and more.

When does it make sense to invest in custom development?

Maybe you’re in a new business sector and the supporting software just hasn’t caught up. Or maybe you’re in a very established sector, and the leading solutions have been around since the nineties and you think it could be a lot better with some modern technology. Or maybe you’ve just got a groundbreaking idea!
Maybe you’re a product company or a service company, but you suspect your valuation would increase substantially if you could bill yourself as a software company. Custom development is a no brainer.
Maybe the available software is good enough in most ways, but your people are spending unconscionable amounts of time doing some silly task. You might be reinventing a whole lot of wheels, but if the result gives you enough of an edge, it could be well worth it. Plus, you get to pout your own name on this one!
